You will have seen...
...a lot of scenes from World Youth Day, and read a lot. But some of the most powerful bits were not highlighted by the mainstream media. Did you see this?

Thank you, Joanna. It's good to read a blog with something positive to say about WYD. I enjoyed watching parts of it on EWTN and found the Stations very moving (if a little unconventional!).
I agree with Jon. Thank you Joanna for posting this wonderful and moving story. It came just at the right time, as I was gnashing my teeth at some of the negative stuff about WYD and Pope Francis. Honestly, three million kids cheering when they're told to go out and preach the Gospel instead of sitting on their backsides - if people can't see that as encouraging, I just despair. I'm no youth but long live World Youth Day!

It was a great story. World Youth Day always gives me hope. And I wish I lived in a place where 3 million Catholics would show up for the Pope.
