Love your comment about elderly parishioners welded to guitars! I must confess to being such a one. When my sister and I began to provide the music at our church twenty years ago I prophesied that one day we would be the 'old biddies at the back" and such have we become. We do play many traditional hymns so maybe that is a point in our favour and the congregation sings well. I enjoyed your discussion with Fr Mitch Pacwa on EWTN which I caught up with on youtube.
