Mgr Keith Newton...
...blessed a pic of St John Paul the Great that will be taken on pilgrimage to Walsingham this summer. Here he is with Auntie and the pic. It's an embroidered picture, from a pattern obtained in Rome on a visit for the canonisation last year.
The John Paul Walk to Walsingham has its 10th anniversary Walk this summer. It's organised by the splendid Dominican Sisters of St Joseph, and is absolutely glorious...starts with an open-air Mass in the ancient abbey ruins at Bury St Edmunds (where Magna Carta was drawn up), and finishes with Mass at Walsingham three days later...and in between there is walking, praying, singing, hospitality, open-air Mass at Castelacre, evenings of talk and hearty meals and laughter as we stay overnight in school halls and church halls...you can book your place simply by contacting the Sisters.
