Why did our media in Britain just not get it?

WYD has been almost completely ignored by the media in the United States. I don't know what we would do without EWTN. It was so wonderful to be able to watch the proceedings by satellite from Australia.
I couldn't help comparing the show of unity and faith at WYD with the shambles that is the Lambeth Conference. I crossed the Tiber in 1989 and never looked back.
I am so impressed by our Holy Father's ability to address the modern, secular world with courage and clarity.
Wow! That article was in the SMH. Most of the media here (in Australia) didn't get it either, including the SMH, so I'm impressed they had a positive article like this.
