Researching...
...London's history for forthcoming History Walks I came across this fascinating piece. Note the author...
Indeed - a fascinating article. I remember once seeing a photo of a church dedicated to St Mellitus and wondering who he was. Pre Internet days of course whereas today all one has to do is tap in a name and there are the details although as we all know not all are correct.
His name to me sounded more like a disease - 'I've got a touch of Mellitus today!'
