...and leading History walks. Some thoughts for some visitors here...
I was interested to know that your mother was in St Mary's Clapham when the top of the spire was knocked off. I was told this story some years ago by a Redemptorist Priest friend who was also there when it happened and he helped to clear up the resulting rubble. It is a beautiful church and seemingly little known.
