The Catholic chatosphere...
...doesn't seem to have made much of this, preferring on the whole to follow the NBC line of silence...
The Pope has explicitly said that a Catholic doctor or nurse must sacrifice his job rather than participate in abortion. That's unusual, because the hierarchy doesn't like making hard demands of laypeople. It shows just how seriously Pope Francis takes this issue.
Thank you very much for drawing this to our attention. It seems to me that Pope Francis is not merely being censored by the media but being- quite deliberately- misrepresented.
