The Church in Britain...

I'd only add that the Church teaches despair is a mortal sin.
That Olympic closing ceremony revealed to me just how far British culture had fallen. If those are the things they are proud of and find indentity in, Lord help your country.
Don't give up hope, we've had redefinition of marriage in Canada for a while, I forget how long, it's hard to keep up with it all...but my husband and I have noticed an unusual number of young pregnant mothers around town this summer, with one, two or more children in tow...we have a Year of Faith coming up, and a Synod on Evangelization in October, Pope Benedict is off to Lebanon in September...if he hasn't given up then neither should we... I think God still has a few surprises in store....
