What Mr. Phillips appears to neglect is the fact that the legislature is itself not above the law - the natural law.
Absolutely! I'm not sure if you're referring to any event going on in Britain, but there is a big issue here in the States about the government coercing the catholic Church to pay for birth control and abortion inducing drugs. It definitely needs to be read here.
I just read the Philips argument. Seems that you over in England are experiencing a similar marginalization of religion. All I can say is that it's left wingers. I think we have a fighting chance in the US, since the our constitution gurentees religious freedom, and the Obama power grab should be struck down in our Supreme Court. I don't know how you government works. I really fear for you. God help us.
