THIS IS A Catholic blog. I am a Catholic journalist and author. If you enjoy this Blog, you'll probably enjoy my books - so contact me (via a Comment to this blog) and ask me about them.
I saw this yesterday and I've been trying to spread the word across the Catholic blogosphere. It's an outrage. The only relief that I have is that it probably couldn't pass in the US given our freedom of speech embedded in our constitution. But it hurts me to see western civilization slowly destroy itself. I'm beginning to give up hope for all of Europe.
I'm sure it's unintentional but your article is somewhat misleading. Ms Eweida was not sacked by BA and she was not disciplined for wearing the cross. She was instructed to comply with the general ban on the display (not wearing) of jewellery and was suspended when she did not do so.
