A story I heard - the type that ought to be true even if it isn't: A fellow MEP asked Otto whether he was watching the Austria-Hungary football match that evening. "Oh" he said, "who are we playing?"
I was moved by the many tributes from governments in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. It is good that they have not entirely forgotten their history.
