Your biography of Saint John Vianney sounds most tempting. I was thinking of looking for the one by Father William Rutler, but now I think I'll put yours on my wish list.
ReplyDeleteI got my copy over the weekend. It's very readable and quite short. It paints a good picture of nineteenth century French village life. There's a bit on the history of the Revolution, but mainly it sticks to biography, some of which is quite remarkable.
