You did little to further your cause only further creating the impression of tyranny that religion has for so long imposed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33970956.post-86586066105929468052010-09-17T06:11:37.216+01:002010-09-17T06:11:37.216+01:00Auntie,

Everyone cheering like mad - not a Pope protester in sight (though I understand there were about 20 in Edinburgh, compared with the 125 000 that had come out to cheer him. Strathclyde Police Band and SuBo played and sang their socks off. Great day and 'Protest the Pope' can stick it in their pipe and smoke it..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33970956.post-33090342337872608592010-09-16T21:22:13.988+01:002010-09-16T21:22:13.988+01:00Blogeuse!

I said that I came from Holland. You nodded with great interest but you did not speak! I told you that I sympathized with your action and your prayer. The good Lord will multiply it. I pray that the pope will have a good visit. And that your high esteemed country may be immersed in grace. I told my colleague Wim Peeters about your action. He greets you.
Yours sincerely
Steven van WeedeStevennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33970956.post-13601379724585396932010-09-16T20:36:34.904+01:002010-09-16T20:36:34.904+01:00I will pray for your intentions. I received the Collegeville Bible Commentary in the mail this morning also. You mentioned it a while back. I was looking for a good Bible commentary so thank you for the recommendation.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01198856128213307540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33970956.post-58105230241823787232010-09-16T17:31:09.493+01:002010-09-16T17:31:09.493+01:00Watching EWTN's coverage of Mass at Bellahoust...Watching EWTN's coverage of Mass at Bellahouston.
Such tears of joys spread down my face for all of us. :)

Even amongst trials and tribulations, we are a blessed Catholic people.Dawnnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33970956.post-1923144001699125012010-09-16T17:25:04.143+01:002010-09-16T17:25:04.143+01:00Joanna,

I saw something briefly on the news and he seems to have been welcomed.

His meeting with the Queen seems also to have been successful - so the visit will proceed, possibly without further hiccups, i.e. Cardinal Kaspar.

I hope that the rest of the visit is peaceful.
