Ergo Sundays are not part of Lent and therefore one is not expected or required to do Lenten penance on the Sundays of Lent; in fact on the middle Sunday of Lent (Laetare, our Separated Brethren call it Refreshment Sunday) one is positively encouraged by Holy Church to feast.Wake Up Englandnoreply@blogger.com
